Re-Defining Everything

It's 2012, I'm not getting younger everyday although I look young haha but I need to achieve something this year.

Planning for dives this year, getting my specialty dives this year. Plans for Sipadan dives are on the way. Can't do things half way, at least another 20 dives this year? That should do it. In order to get myself qualified for DM (Dive Master). Hell I took this long to get to DM? What have I been doing all this time???

Re-defining my photography skills. Will be doing less on weddings and more on conceptual and composite photography. Easy as it sounds, no; hell it's tougher than I thought it would be. Won't know till I've gone through it soon. 1st composite photoshoot will be next month, hope I can make it back KK before my client flies to KL.

Story telling.

Newborns, ahh ... I just can't get enough of those toddler's twinkling nose and belly of 'em.

Need to improve along the road.

10 Things a Photographer Needs to know to Succeed in Photography

1. Shoot with passion – you need passion for people and/or storytelling. It’s more important than gear or anything else. It drives success.

2. Stay away from bitter, unhappy, mean, angry people. Avoid trolls and bullies – in any and all aspects of your life. Don’t spend ANY time with or on them. This is one of the single most important things you can do to succeed at ANYTHING.

Your value to the world and your clients isn’t in any way dependent on how you think you stack up with those around you. Don’t worry about that. Worry about your clients. 4. Make the craft of photography something you lust over. Be on top of everything photography-related. Be proficient at all aspects of photography. Think about and pursue high quality results.

5. Care about people. Care about all of them, especially prospects, clients, vendors, staff and associates. Really care about them. When you ask them how they are doing, care enough to really listen to the answer. Think of your photo shoot as an attempt to help someone else’s life become a little better.

6. Tell stories with your camera. Make a difference everywhere you go. Have an impact everywhere you go. Live a big life. Take big bites out of life. Don’t concentrate on what you can’t do or don’t have, concentrate on what you can do and do have.

7. Use social media, new media, all media to show and sell your work. Embrace it. Become good at helping people solve problems using social and new media. You can help more people that way and make a bigger impact that way.

8. Own your own zip code. Make sure everyone in your zip code thinks of you as their local photographer. Don’t worry about taking over the world. The Beatles were rock stars in their local pub years before anyone in the USA ever heard of them. You can spend your whole life just serving your own zip code and be wealthy, successful and respected beyond your wildest dreams.

9. Honor your brand. Make sure it’s consistent with your core values. Know your own beliefs, feelings and desires and wrap them into your business/brand. Then live that. Make sure that you do what you say you will do well and with a smile. No excuses. Ever. Never. If you do make a mistake, immediately own it. Don’t wait for someone else to find out about it. Be proactive. Fix it. Fix it so things end up better than they would have been if you didn’t screw up. Don’t make excuses. Don’t get defensive. Apologize, fix and move on. Do it quickly, quietly and with a smile on your face every time.

10. Know your why. People don’t buy what you do they buy WHY you do it. Have an authentic WHY, and you’ll be rich in every way that counts. If you don’t know why you are a professional photographer or can’t articulate it, change jobs.

2) Continue my 'Back to the Future' Project
3) Take more portraiture this year

5) God willing, I wanna go visit New Zealand
6) Less traveling back to KK
7) Do well in business
8) Help my parents with managing the land
9) Smile more, treat myself well and do more charity
10) Finally, get myself a girlfriend haha ...

That should keep me occupied for the whole year.

It's the 5th day without my car, and was staying at home the whole time from the day I came back. Now I know how crippled feels like, not literally but technically. Luckily Balkis was free enough to bring me out with her boyfriend for dinner and bought some things for the house. Seriously going out felt soooooo damn good. Felt like I wasn't apart of the outside world ... all you see when you wake up in the morning's the ceiling, the fan ... the clock ticking ... ticking ... frogs ... basically you can hear everything here ... even the rats, not sure whether it's the next door's pet but it's nearby.

Thursday, can't wait for Monday ... the sooner the better. Lets hope for the best this year :) even though the world's coming to an end. Have you done your part of the bargain?

*Yawns* Been listening to this same old song since Tuesday, and it's been playing since then. Feels nostalgic but I like it.

It's almost 1am ... got back KL last night, things were kinda hectic before I went back KK. Car couldn't start, then the car was towed when we went back to jump start it. Had to reschedule for 2 shoots. Just hope things will turn out well soon. All I can do now is sit down and stay calm. Anyway, life needs to go on. Will need to finish 1 newborn portrait, 1 family photo session and 1 prewed in KL before I fly back to KK again for another prewed shoot with Emma on the 26th April 2011. May won't be far after that, there's gonna be 2 preweds and 2 weddings. Was hoping more of newborn's portraits. Having a car in KK will come in handy, feel like driving alllllll over Sabah. That'd be cool huh? In the mean time, I'll be taking old photos for some people. By that I mean this.

Might be stuck at home until end of the month. I hope not, I might rot here til then.

Yea it's Monday again. I used to Mondays until now :)

Time for some attitude overhauling this year!

It's 2011 and I can't keep lazying around like I used to anymore. Pffft ... I'm not getting any younger these days. I'm listing alllll the things I need changing for this year to start and I really hope it doesn't only stays on for this year.

1) Waking up early in the morning (like say 530am?)
2) Cutting down ciggies completely
3) Eating healthly (at least 3 meals a day for starters)
4) 15 minutes strecthing/workout after waking up
5) 530am, ample time to prepare myself for the long day ahead
6) Spend 1 hour of exercise, 3 days a week ( doens't sound so hard doesn't it?)
7) Spend less time sitting in front of lappy (unless your editing)
8) Be self-motivated
9) Get yourself out of bed and do something out of the routine already you cave creature!
10) Need to go for bungee jumping this year (for reaaaaaaalllll~~~)
11) Buy new socks!
11) Get a new travelling bag for crying out loud!
12) Be Happy :)

Hello 2011

Although my mission to be a full time diver was a total failure but it hasn't stop me from pursuing it for a long term goal. Well you do know diving cost like hell and besides I've tendered my resignation letter yesterday. A brief sigh of relief. :)

Happy New Year 2o11 people. Hope this year will be a great year for us all!

Tendered my letter, now what?
Of course I have plenty of time to update my blogs, edit more pics, take more pics and more time for myself, I'm ma own boss now!

But for the time being I need to restructure myself so I don't go lazying around now, can I?
I'm surviving purely from part times/full time shoots nowadays :)
Can't wait for my 1st baby shot though. It's gonna be a great start.

The down side bout looking for your own models to shoot for, they always give a cold reply which is a turn off. When I'm famous, I won't be the one looking for models, you models will be the ones looking for me. By then, I'll give a cold answer as well hahaha :P

Sunday 3rd of May - MINI STUDIO

Was up early to do my very own mini studio!!!
Yeepiiiiii ... went out to buy breakfast, cutter and materials for the mini studio.

Found myself a box and start cutting here and there ... luckily I still have some Mahjong papers ...

Voila!!! Mission accomplished!!!

Had a tough time figuring out how to use the Nissin Di622 as slave flash gun ... but after 20minutes I finally found out how to use it ... hehe ... troublesome yet it was FUN!!!
Made the room into a studio instead haha ... oh well, it was worth the effort! =)

How to do your own Mini Studio
---------------------------------
1) Find a box of your own size
2) Scissors/ cutter as a cutting tool
3) Tape
4) Posters/ Mahjong paper (A1 size)

a) Cut a square shaped on both sides of the box with a scissor/ cutter, make sure you don't amputate the box while cutting it
b) Then cover it back with the Mahjong paper, this is where the slaved flash-gun will fire (either side)
c) Use the Mahjong paper again to make a carpet/ wallpaper as background (use your own creativity for this)
d) There, you're done and ready for shooting!!!

Friday, Labor Day for all mankind

It's a saturday!

I finally got my N D90 last week :D even got everything complete, well almost everything just need to wait my filter holder and the filter as well as the diffuser from China hehe ... I got those stuff with a reasonable cheap price compared to those from the retail shops ... I love my tripod as well :D Benro! Got it from Shashinki.com hehe ... managed to get them tested yesterday ... went photo shooting with Nelson and Balkis ...

Friday, first we went to the Look Out Point hilltop for a sunrise scene but too bad the sunrise was behind the hill haha ... we reached the hills around 4 to 5am and we weren't expecting to see there was alot of people ... mostly couples though up there! Damn cold up there but the fresh air kept us wide awake ... almost all of us haha ... after we were done, we went back to take a nap and continued our sunset session at Sepang Gold Coast.

How to go to Sepang Gold Coast without paying toll
------------------------------------------------------------------

1) From Jusco Equines, take the route to Banting/Dengkil which leads to Putrajaya highway
2) If you see a signboard to KLIA on your left hand side, don't turn in and just go straight 'till you see the Banting/Dengkil signboard
3) If you happen to notice you're in a secluded area don't worry you're on the right track ... I hope ... haha ...
4) Then you will reach the traffic light, then go straighttttt 'till you see KLIA again

Took us less than 45 minutes to reach KLIA exactly without paying any tolls and surprisingly it was faster than we expected!!! From Sepang Circuit to Sepang Gold Coast, Sungai Pelek it took us about 35minutes to reach the beach ...

Finally ... phuuu, I hate long journeys ...

Wow ... even though the place is not something like Oz's Gold Coast but this will do justttt fine ...
Huhhh ... the wind's breeze feels so nice ... alot of campers too! Kites everywhere! Just a place to relax and a great way to escape from everything ... constructions are still on going in parts of the area but it's still ok for me :D

Was there 'till 8pm since 630pm ... under the hot sun haha ... so damn tired ... can move a muscle ... headache actually from all the heat! Luckily Balkis was driving ... the we head Kajang which wasn't our plan at the first then we went for Kajang Satay! Every where was freaking crowded!!!!

We end our day by going back home after dinner ... will upload pics later ... need to get rid of some pics in my computer first ... overloaded with pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello fellow virtualians!

Damn I miss writing crap over here, altho there's no readers but hey at least I'm putting a good show for someone in that mass virtual world of ours!

Hmm, alot has happened these pass months, weeks ...

1) Trying to get back to reality
2) Met up with an old friend, a pen pal of mine to be exact
3) Got my bloody toilet burnt to ashes
4) Can't recall, screw it ...

Anyways, during my trip back to hometown, I managed to go for a 3 dives trip with the Borneo Dreams which was a good one altho the visibility was very poor but Wee and I had fun with the other divers ... done some catching up with my family and cousins, of course there's always time for my friends as well :D 2 weeks seems like yesterday, guess I can't stop time like Hiro Nakamura did haha ...

Oh man, damn I can't wait to get a new dslr (NIKON D90)... hands are itchy!!!!
I need to get myself some dive gears baby!!!!
Next dive will be ... hmmm ... hopefully it's June and August?

Yo! It's been awhile peeps ...
1st day of working and I find myself sitting alone with my computer on ... I wonder whether everyone's still working here ... haha ...

Got back here on the 6th of Feb and I feel tired already ... imagine how chaotic it is coming back here, I need some getting use to with these feelings! It's been a worth-while trip the pass 2 weeks ... catching up with my family and friends. People would tell you, look forward and never look back but I wish I could go back time and watch history re-write itself ...

Yo yo!!! It's been a year since the last CNY ... and it's here again, this month;this very same place called home! *typing while chewing on sum burger*

Ohya, got myself an old-school polaroid from ebay :D first I thought of getting one of those newly designed ones but nah, later -lah since I prefer the old version ones I need to buy it's films too ... damn, these things cost me a fortune! Well since it's considered one of those collector's item thingy ... maybe in few years to come like 10 -30 years I might be a millionaire selling antiques :D well who knows. Oh 1 more thing, I might get the item in one month's time, dammit hope it doesn't break the thing!

Anyway, just wanted to make a check list before packing up things.

It's a new year and another new begin ... that's what people always say!
It's the same day like last year, it's my birthday! Yay!!! Hmmm didn't do much though but yet I enjoyed having my friends around although they didn't noticed it was my birthday-lah. Well anyway, I did get some presents from MeiHwa, Angela and Azura though ehehe ... thanx you 2, means alot to me :D got a bottle of Red Label with stars in it from MeiHwa, and from Azura I got cupcakes and chocolate muffins all the way from Sarawak! cool! and it tasted great on my taste-buds ... from Angela I got some home-made cookies :D ... so sweet of them!!!

They always said that, new year comes with new resolution! Never had a great resolution before but maybe this year would help ... hmmm ...

1) Gain weight
2) Start to do some serious thinking
3) Getting some of those collector's item thingys
4) Being successful at least in something

Need to get my hands on the D90 ASAP ... can't stand waiting so long dammit ... oh and I'm planning on getting another lomo camera and a polaroid too ... one with the new version and an old school one too, things should get interesting sooner ... and for the lomo? Oh ... am getting myself a Holga this time :D I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Haven't been posting for some time, was busying around.

Saturday; just got back from work, and as I walk to my room I saw a parcel with my name on it ... cool, flip it to the other side - sent by: Hong yi. Then I remembered she still owes me a box of chocolate hahaha ... was so excited coz I don't usually get parcels from people :D

oh okay, guess it should be ok I hope ... with full of anticipation I unwrapped the bloody parcel haha ... ermmm, this should be 'okay' =) hehe, left it in the fridge for awhile so I could taste it later ... looks yummmy ... ahh, I'll have to wait ... oh, btw Hong yi ... didn't know we were staying nearby haha ... I mean really nearby!!!

Sunday; woke up, clean up the room, threw the trash, did laundry, took pics of my bike ( total lost) then posted pics hehe ...

23rd - 28th October 2008 - KK Trip for Jalie's wedding

TUESDAY!!!!!
Had a rough night since I didn't get much sleep and because we need to rush to the airport by 8am. I woke up exactly 5:45am and ran upstairs to knock on my housemate's door... he's still sleeping!!!!?!?!? we bath, dressed up and grab our stuff then walked to the LRT station. It was pitch black and cold, so nice - should try waking up early everyday! 6:45am and we're still waiting for the tren, everything was in slow motion - a different side of life we don't always get to see for ourselves.
Managed to snap few shots on the tren. Took us 15 minutes to reach KL Central and I always thought it took 45 minutes ... damn ... as usual you'll see everyone rushing, walking or even running from somewhere to some place ... crazy huh, well you'll get used to it after few months. Hop on to the bus and it was 6:55am, that's a relief.

Didn't pay any attention to anything outside coz I was busy checking out the traffics, didn't want to get caught in some massive traffic jam!!! haha ... luckily we reach LCCT in time and we were 1 hour early than expected! Thank goodness.

A day to remember.

Haha sorry took me so long to do some uploading over here ... can't really do anything with the connection so darn slow. It's a Tree Planting Day!!! SUNDAY ... just perfect for the job :D Woke up early and straight away drove to the destination after a bath.

The place was really crowded, the first thing I noticed from the car was everyone was wearing the same clothes ??? Did I missed something here? I attire weren't nearly green so I might be the only person not in green, then again ... there were others who weren't wearing green, lucky me!

Lucky for us, there's a counter for us to pick up our goody bags and T-Shirt! Yay I love goodie bags! haha ... I asked for 'L' size which is an American/UK standard size I guess, so I went to the changing room which was abit uncomfortable haha. Oh man, was it me or did they gave the wrong size to me? The shirt's too damn tight!!! I can almost see my arm pit already haha.

I'm in group 6 - Balau??? Should be the name of the plants the team's gonna plant. The theme for this event was 'Canon Goes Green'. I wasn't expecting alot of people that day, so I wasn't expecting any photographer's to be there as well. well, I was wrong for the first time ... haha ... okok, I was wrong lots of times!!! From the goodie bag, you'll get a cap, a tag with your group no. on it, greenie t-shirt, a pen with canon's logo on it, a small piece of schedule, shorts, under-wears, shoes and sun-glasses! Nah, I was just kidding on the shorts, underwears, shoes and sun-glasses :D

'Today we're gonna plant 2500 trees!'

One of the leaders (group 6) giving a brief talk on the members on what to do and what not. The total trees to be planted on that very day would be 2500 pieces, yes 2500 - every single one of 'em!!! The expected amount of participants to join the event was 300 if I'm not mistaken yet the exact amount that came on that day was nearly 500 people (maybe, can't remember). So, having 2500 divided by 500 plus won't be a problem. I myself planted 8-10 trees, which was abit tiring yet fun experience since there was chics around so I couldn't help to lend a helping hand for them :D haha ...

After one of the Organizer gave his talk we started to grab our trees and start planting away. Ohya, there was no need for digging since the holes are there to be filled with trees straight away. So, it was a piece of cake! Oh, one more thing, for each group (a total of 14 groups) they'll be designated with each of their very own 'zone' ... the whole place, I think it shold be 10 to 15 acres wide. HUGE right???

Can't remember all my group members' faces since we didn't even have icebreaking session, so I only managed to remember the chics in my group.

Can't get a closer shot since I was with them and I had to focus on planting trees for the time being... haha ... the crowd was enormous, you can even see tourists joining the event! I love joining these events, maybe I should consider joining the charity community.

Can't really remember how much we planted but it was alot though. Team 6 group photo. That's the thrill of being a photog, people tends to smile for you but some don't-lah. Oh, I forgot something, we were also given a hand glove for planting purposes. I still have mine 'till now. check out the t-shirt we're wearing and the chics in front? hehe ... After the tree planting session was over, I went to see other activities held elsewhere. There was a group of kids playing musics, face-lift decorations, childrens' section, books' section, beverage's section which was totally FREE!!!, thumb-printing section, parent's section, smoking section, bicycle's section and what else ... that should be all of the sections.

I was everywhere, snapping everything that come across my eyes. My feet's aching already and it was only 1030am after the planting game was over. Didn't bother much about the pain, was kinda hungry haha ...

Check out these kids with their own hand-made musical instruments, the younger generations. Comes to remind of how I was when I was their age ... happy go lucky. Well, my time has past and now it's a different phase of life - which I find boring.

The best part about joining these events are seeing new faces, capturing those moments, those expressions, every minutes and second counts. Time just flies by, the next thing you know it's history already. This is my first time taking faces shot, so it was kinda satisfying although not so good yet but I'm content with what I have for the moment. Gonna be taking faces alot sooner or later.

By the end of the day, there was this prize give-away session. The questions were too damn easy, but it was more towards for since they were one's shouting and screaming the whole time ... haha ... damn funny!!!

18th October 2008 - KL Photo Fest

Woke up 1115am, quickly bath and grab my gears to Berjaya Time Square - upon reaching the premises outside it looks like no one should be inside so I was abit relieved about it haha ... parked the car and went straight up to the hall, oh my ... the place was infested with photog!!!! Not only that, they're geared up with wide angle lense and telephotos!!! That's for the coming event - Modeling session only for extreme photogs!!!! Oh man, imagine how many of them that day ... there was seminars from Canon, Nikon and also few people I don't know of ...

There was actually this audition their doing among the counters, it's actually a reality show for photographers (non-experienced ones) ... alot of youngsters joined the audition and even those who wanna try out their luck =D like ME!!!! haha ... went it and there was two guys in coats, can't remember their names but told me to pick either 'a' or 'b' for the next question. So I picked 'a' then one of them told me to use a dslr provided without changing the settings and try to shoot the miniature layed infront - first mistake: I went and adjust the settings hahaha ... coz I thought it was off so I was looking for the on button or something to switch it on - man do I look pathetic haha ... and I wasn't suppose to take 2 pics cause they only told me specifically 'ONLY 1' stupid! sure blew my chance away ... well they took my photo after the interview/audition ... took off after the audition after 5 hours of listening, walking, observing, poking, playing, testing, watching and clicking.

I have a sour leg now >.<... damn tired ... will upload the pics soon =)

Hello guys =) it's been quite hectic here in town with all the traffic jams and crappy politic talks ... everyone's talking about it ... almost everyone-Lah, I hate everything about it ... the politicians, their promises, their lies, their act, everyone's so dramatic these days ... even blogger's are being arrested - it's not a free country anymore, there's no freedom to express ourselves anymore ... well I wished they arrest me ... I'm not good at expressing myself via blogging coz I curse alot if I were to do so, I prefer doing it in another way =)

Well enough 'bout shitty politic talks here ... non allowed ...
Was in the office days ago, and was surfing during lunch hour - and suddenly I remembered there was one cartoon show during the late 80's ... it was GUMBY!!!! Man do I missed him SOOOOOOoooOOOOO much!!! Started to watch back all the series in youtube ... reminds me the good old bratty days of mine :p

Only those born during the 1980's will recall this character :D time flies, how I wished to return back to those naughty days =) ... well who doesn't ... I'm scared of being old ... feels ...

Haven't been shooting lately, kinda tired and no time this week - maybe will shoot something this weekend :)

11th September 2008 - Macro Shooting

I'm totally wiped out today ... so exhausted I felt like going for a nap again and I'm hungry =='
Took a bath then grab my camera and went outside the house ... thought of taking macro shoots again while the weather is good :) Well, it's the usual again ... spiders, ants, butterflies, flies and more spiders ... thought of getting a new tripod with a stretchable stand ... coz normal tripods are fix and that LAME for me ...for macro shootings, subjects won't be on the same height as you will be so we need to consider that all subjects are flexible too ... with shaky hands like mine, I need one reliable tripod to serve me :D

Now this is what I call a tripod :D ... last saw the price was RM180.00 and now it's up to RM200.00 ... wahhh... should have bought the other day ... damn!!! Ryan and my brother even got the same tripod like this ... hmmmmmmmmmm ... maybe later, I'm totally broke at the moment ...

Was bored of taking the same spiders over and over again, so maybe I'll change to something more nature like shots? Arghhhh who cares!!!

Obvious noise.

The hard part of taking macro shots are you need to consider:
1) Lighting
2) Shutter speed
3) ISO
4) Aperture
5) Composition

Lighting

If you're taking shots in the morning, then you won't have any problems with lighting coz you'll have allllll the amount of light to use unless you're somewhere in a cave or something ... then you'll need to consider having an external pop up flash...

Shutter Speed
- shutter speed is a cover over the film or CCD that controls the length of time that the light reaches the film

If your subject is moving or there's wind blowing then you might consider tuning to a fast shutter but the faster it goes the less lighting you'll be harvesting. Faster shutter speeds helps prevent blurred images due to camera shake.

ISO

In a low light situation after using fast shutter speed, we tend to use higher ISO - higher ISO allows you to turn off your flash when shooting in dark areas ... but the higher the ISO the more obvious your 'noise' will be in your shots.

Aperture

Aperture will be the one that lets more or less light through the lens, the lower you tune your aperture the more light there is and vice versa.

Composition
Composition will be how you present your subjects to you audience or how you portray your shots.

If you managed to master the first three items, then you won't have any problems unless your camera suddenly breaks down. But the again, it doesn't means that each time you shoot during the morning there will be efficient lights to use coz it all depends on your location too.

10 September 2008 - Sunset at Tanjung Harapan

After work I straight away drove myself to Port Klang, North Port ... actually it wasn't even after working hours ... so, who cares ... took me an hour to reach Tanjung Harapan today ... obviously it was my first drive to North Port and to tell you the truth I have no idea how sure I was to drive there, just memorized the route via wikimapia :D

To reach Tanjung Harapan from Federal Highway, all you need to do drive allllll the way to Klang, when you notice a signboard with North Klang written on it then you're on the right track ... you'll eventually see another signboard after few more kilometres showing TANJUNG HARAPAN ---> Well if you're taking the highway you'll have to tolls at Batu 3 for RM1.10 and another one heading Klang for RM1.00 ... ohya one more thing, if you got a four wheel drive then I suggest you drive your bloody 4x4 coz the road to the destination has lots of pot holes ... so? Just follow the sign to Tanjung Harapan then you're almost there :D you'll come across a golf course where allll the rich buggers waste their money and further up you'll see the famous Sea Food Restaurant on your right hand side ... can't recall the name ... something to do with Muara Sea Food Restaurant ??? The heat can kill you if you're there around 4pm to 5pm ... not much people during weekdays, only weekends ... so lucky me :D don't really want the attention from people actually =='''

9th September 2008 - The Frog

Came back from interview with ASTRO today, yeah ASTRO ... the place is damn High-End I tell you ... I was brought and briefed inside the recording and playback department which they call it the PARS ... it's a pain to write down alll the crappy details over here coz I can't remember them actually LOLZ ... the engineer (Alvin) took me for a grand tour on the place ... the moment I stepped inside the room, wow ... from a boring display you'll see lots of screen tvs like those in the movies and it's freaking cold!!! Interior design, awesome! Equipments-wise, that place rocks! We talked and discussed for 2 long hours ... now my feet's aching ... oh well, what day it was haha ... on my way home, stop by and had something to eat then went home played with my psp for awhile then dozed off although I didn't actually slept off ...

Was thinking of going to Port Klang, Tanjung Harapan after the interview but it was 1635pm already so maybe next time ... was planning to shoot the sunset over there, if I manage to find the place of course ... maybe tomorrow, yeah I think I'll do that ... finish off some work then I'm off :D

Came back from dinner then I saw something small and black in color under my seat and it's MOVING!!!!! Don't worry it's only a toad or maybe a frog? Anyway, while it was busy jumping here and there I took some pix of it ... wasn't much ... I put it outside the house afterwards ...

Monday ... had trouble opening up my eyes for a cold bath coz I didn't had much sleep last night ... was hungry too haha ... I'm always hungry yet I'm still skinny ... most of the ladies might get jealous of me coz there's no stopping me from eating and still being slim ... LOL ...

Was gloomy all day but my facial expression tends to stay the same ... lifeless expression haha ... just some gibberish to keep the blog alive haha ... I'm bored ... was thinking 'bout the interview for tomorrow ... was hoping to get the job and thinking of my next dive course which will be on the next CNY (Chinese New Year) ... it requires a minimum of 20 dives ... hmmm and I only have 12 dives, should I go for 4 days dive trip??? or maybe I'll postpone it to another day so I wouldn't spend much that day ... Going back hometown again this coming October ... hopefully I'm working with another company by then ... decisions decisions decisions ... decisions ...

7th September 2008 - FRIM Recreational Park

It's Sunday!!!!!! Woke up around 8 - 9am something I guess, then bath and got my gears ready for the outing!!! So excited even if I'm going alone haha ... most of my friend's was still sleeping so I'll bring them along next week .... From Petaling Jaya (PJ), SS2 to Kepong was about 30 minutes and toll was RM1.60 ... reaching FRIM isn't so hard actually, you just need to follow the sign board given and make sure you don't take a wrong turn ... quite troublesome ... other than that, you won't have any problems :D

Reach the front post guard house, I ask one of the guards:" 'bang, nak gi air terjun mana ah?" ("Bro, how do I go to the waterfall?") ... then the guard replied:" Nak buat apa ah?" ("what are you going to do there?") HUH??? (I whispered... what else would I do?, it's a recreational park-Lah you dumb dumb!!!) ... then he ask me to pay RM5 (Adults) for entrance fee ... ok, take it then ... haha ... upon entering the place it reminds me of hometown haha ... yeah, trees everywhere ... home sweet home ... made few rounds of the place and then parked the car ... doesn't look so BIG to me ... haha ... a piece of cake!!!

Changed to my hiking shoes and grabbed my gears then off I go to the forest! Yay!

Maybe he meant 25KM??? haha ... Actually for one subject it took me about 25 minutes to get a good shot, so the blames on me hahaha ... here's the map for the place ...

This bug was the last thing I snap from the woods, all I wanted was to get back to the car ... waterrrrrrr ... I need waterrrr ... I reached the car around 2pm I guess haha ... rest for awhile then continue my journey back home ... man am I tired from all the walk ... didn't know it was that tiring!!! I didn't even managed to go to the suspended brigde ... didn't know which side was it ... well I'll find next week :D ... uploaded my photos to my PC then took a nap after mcD ...

It's a Saturday ... man I love Saturdays ... coz I can slept the whole day without bothering what's even happening outside my room :D ... it's been raining since morning ... nice time to take a nap, but nahhh ... took the time to rearranged my room and do some house cleaning ... wasn't much productive during the day haha ...

Went to Jln. Pudu, Pudu Plaza to check out a shop actually - the one I saw in lelong.com.my ... took me like half an hour to scout for the shop ... damn ... it was at the corner after taking the escalator down ... was planning on buying a bag for my G9, an extra memory card and of course CPL filter :D been wanting to own one ... the owner was polite and knowledgable of course ... finally I bought the items I wanted!!!

Wanted to buy L size but it was wayyy too bulky and huge! So, I just settled for an M size :D.

30 August 2008 - Merdeka Eve at 'Look Out Point'

It's Merdeka eve and I'm working!!! Half day only so not to worry ... managed to do a quick researched on where to go for Merdeka eve :D

1) Time Square Wayang Kulit - 230pm, 5pm, 7pm
2) Serdang Photography Lesson - How to shoot Events
3) Dataran Merdeka

After work I went to buy UV filter (Raydawn), not sure whether that's a famous brand but what the heck who cares as long as it's a cheap bargain I'll take it ... cost me RM80 ... at least I got a lens protector now :D feeling awesome about it now^^ Hell yeah!

It was raining heavily again ... but I'm still hoping to go for an outing tonight ... planned to go out 5pm but changed plans, suddenly thought of an even better spot to view fireworks during Eve ... The Look Out Point ... yeah the look out point, it's located somewhere Here ... only heard about people talking it in a forums and reading a general idea 'bout it in blogs ... so I wanted to be on the hills myself, not the ones listening - but the ones who'll be talking about it :D Don't I sound cool with the phrase? You think so too eh? LOL ...

Had a tough night looking for the entrance to the junction, no worries we managed to find our way there luckily there's a map to look through before going there ... upon reaching or before reaching the junction point, I had a bad feeling about it ... every single car's lining in front of us are going the same bloody direction ... oh well, couldn't be that crowded right? I don't think they'll be a bunch of people though ...

Damn, was I wrong ... along the hillside there's already cars piling up ... night markets (couldn't take any photos coz I was driving - sigh), even the bloody road's congested with people and mat rempits ... really hate seeing them on the road, I'll hit them over if I'm driving a backhoe ... had to park the car quite a distance, the atmosphere's great up there ... the wind blowing slowly yet it's not raining Thank GOD !!! The entrance itself was a big attraction ... never knew there was a place like this ... we had to walk up stairs again ... phuuu ~ some exercise before the show ... we were struck in awe when we took the last step of the stairs ... it's either we're frustrated about the crowd or we were surprise the restaurants and cafe up here was ... speechless ... ok It's ordinary but the view ... the view's fantastic!!!! For those of you who plans to have a good and memorable date, then this is your spot of the day mate ... It would be a great dinner with someone you had in mind and a hangout lair for all sorts of people ... everyone's waiting and standing for those who didn't managed to get a table, they'll be standing just next to the customer's table so for those sitting and facing the city skyscrapper ... I bet they're awkward enough to do things already LOL ...

I wasn't tall enough to shoot due to the crowd, I'll leave the job to my 7 feet tall buddy Jay to the job for me :D ... I couldn't even set up my tripod, coz there won't be anything to see but people's back side ... several minutes after the show ... the crowd suddenly disappear ... wow ... people come - people go, now you see now you don't ... just for the sake of that few minutes to come to the hill side and stuck in a jam ... worth it I guess ... managed to set up my tripod then took 2 shoots of the whole kl ... amazing city lights ... one of the best things I've ever witness in my whole life ... wasn't in the mood to dine in coz the food looks pretty much pricey ...

We took the road in front instead of crawling our ways along with the crowd ... thought it might be a short cut ... well, it was a 'short-cut' indeed ... took us 2 hours to get our ass back on the right track ... we even witness few of them mat rempit laying dead in the middle of the road in the middle of no where ... one of them ran up to the passenger's window and shouted in a panic tone :" tolong bang, tolong bang ... 29 August 2008 - MIFC Finale 2008

Today's the final day for the International Fireworks Competition in Putrajaya, was there an hour early so I get to choose my best spot coz it wasn't crowded still ... at first I thought I wasn't gonna attend for the finales coz it was raining the whole so I didn't put much hope in it ... luckily I did managed to go thanx to the weather :D It's almost 10pm and more and more photographers are crowding up the place ... tick tick tick ... the showdown begins, as usual I always had to zoom in ... sigh ... making the picture abit cropped from the sides ... urghh!!! That's one of the good shots ... oh well still more to go ... the show went about 30 minutes or so,

Last Sunday(24th Aug 2008) was another eventful day for me coz there'll be fireworks again that night ... got my gears well ready in the car, then I went out driving just to clear my head off ... it was raining since 2pm so I was hoping and convince that the rain will eventually stop before 9pm ... I head off early - 6pm ... the highway was totally at a crawl even at this time of hour ... luckily I took a short cut ... I still hate the traffic here and the roads ... reach Putrajaya around 7pm something and tried to search for a better location to shoot ... Cyberjaya was my pick this time ... I was one of the early birds there so I managed to pick a good location, since it was raining so I decided to hang around under the porch ... 8pm came 3 fellows with camera gears, I reckon they're here for the fireworks also ... it was drizzling now, another hour to go ... got my gears up and ready to fire ... I was actually the first to be on the alley with camera + tripod ... almost show time and the rain stop ... the show started ... the first few was nice after that, the ones that are higher was covered by the cloud ... oh man, not only I couldn't get a good shot, it was starting to rain again ... and my battery was running low, I left my extra battery in the CAR!!!! ... I stood there with no power to shoot ... I was frustrated alright ... I just stood there and watch at the same getting myself wet without an umbrella ... sigh ... but the place was magnificent ... like the environment alot coz the view there is fantastic!

Went for another interview in Shah Alam, this time it's sales ... not my ordinary interview I go through ... this one is hard, tougher than I thought it would be and it gave me second thoughts and now I'm can't make up my mind ... not to say I wasn't well prepared or made up my mind with sales ... ok, I wasn't prepared for what he was going to ask though ... for me; from construction hopping to a sale's field - doesn't that sound totally different to you? Not only I didn't get a promising basic wage but he made my thoughts wither ... can't shake it off my mind ... first I thought maybe venturing into business might get myself earning some commission to buy myself some diving gear and a new camera but now, I dunno man ... I'm not scared of the challenge but not getting at least a change in wage should be enough for me ... thinking of taking those ADAS course in Australia now ... man I feel like I'm gutless now ... most important phase in my life and I'm stuck in the middle of no where ... commitments commitments ... can't believe I'm stuck in these kind of situations ... the company I went for the interview today was Abex Medical System one of the top medical equipments sold in Malaysia for hospitals or clinics ... I told the interviewer to give me some time ... and he said I should put some thinking to it ... no turning back ...

21 August 2008 - Participant Tag

Off again today ... so I have all the time for today :D did this did that ... I was bored in the end haha ... so I went to Sunway to collect my participant tag! Finally ... at least I feel like I'm part of something great! Incredible! and fun in my life ... fireworks from Team Canada was great but my photos wasn't so great though ... reached there 10 minutes before the show was about to start so I was abit hasty ... walked to the nearest spot and set up my gears ... arghhh ... bad spot indeed ... the wind was heading my direction so I felt the debris coming down and black smokes ... urhhh ... oh well ... I did learn something ... be there few hours early to get a good spot!

Was shocked when I paid a visit to Olivia's friendster, went to her photos then I saw her engagement photos ... no wonder she was busy ... well she could've just told her friends she was getting engaged ... sigh ... well I'm happy for her :D though ...that's life mate ... that's life ... life goes on!

Looking forward for Sunday's event ... might be going alone, cause don't want to be tied up ... and I hate waiting!

*dring*dringgg* lifted my head to see who was on the line ... xxx-xxxxxxx an unknown number calling me again ... I hate anonymous calls ... guess I just had to pick it up ... the man on the other side of the line had a deep voice ... I try to sound like I didn't just woke up ... he immediately tells me his from the police station in Ampang Jaya and bla bla bla bla ... "what?" he was talking too fast and my brain circuits isn't warm up yet ... managed to pick up some of the words only ... it was my bike, they found it ... at last ... the first thing that jump into my head was ... an image of the bike ... my bike ... wasn't sure whether I was thrilled to hear the word bike or the other way around ... after the phone call I tried to search for the police station online then went to search for the station but no luck ... was circling KL for 3 hours ... so clever ... then I went back exhausted, try to look through wikimapia again for the route ... then went out again ... this time ... successful ... it was 3pm something when I reached the station ... went to see one of the policemen in-charged then managed to take a look at my bike after 6 months ... I was in awe ... the bike was in bad shape ... and here I am still standing, managed to survive the accident that night ... need to do some paperwork at another branch of the police station tomorrow ... then need to transfer the bike from Ampang to Petaling Jaya ... that's quite a distance ... damn ...

Was getting ready for tonight's event, went to buy a reliable tripod even though it's cheap who cares ahah ... as long as I got a tripod that's what counts ... took us 45 minutes to reach Putrajaya then waited for 1 hour before the show? Well it was worth the wait ... luckily the crowd wasn't so big ... :D

05 August 2008 - Ryan & Dren's visit

What a day ... 2 more days before I go to Singapore ... yay ... can't wait ... well, had been busy for the past few days ... had dinner wif Ryan and Dren last Sunday, took them to New Paris Restaurant then the night market in Tmn Megah, after that we had some difficult time looking our way back to Dren's place ... which is her fault hahaha ... kidding bahhh ... then Monday we went to Sunway Pyramid, snap some shots over there ... catching a glimspes of the magician trying to con a kid to buy things from him haha ... chilled out near the fountain and took some shots with Ryan while we're there ... we then had dinner in Ming Tien ... regretted for not taking the food we ordered that night, I ordered chicken wings, and ikan bakar, dren ordered claypot chicken rice, something else (forgot the bloody name) and Apom whilst Ryan ordered Hokkien mee ... some meal huh? haha ... time fucking flies ... need to send them back home so soon ... at least I had fun while they're here :D don't worry guys ... next trip I'll bring u guys go Key Hiong Dim Sum, damn nice, tried the place once but I went there alone and ending up not able to finish everything up hehe ...** just got a text msg from dren saying they just arrived =)

It was Thursday - had a date with Pouline and Karlson :D Yay~
Took her 2 hours I guess to find my place ... haha ... Sorry Pouline, my fault for giving bad directions :P

After reaching my place, we went straight to KL Central to pick up Karlson! He was shock seeing me in Pouline's car coz we didn't tell him I was coming haha ... still the same old Karlson but getting more and more muscular! Went SOULed OUT for dinner and we, actually Pouline was the one noticed him, there was a HK artist!!!! sorry mate forgot his bloody name :P will post the pic Pouline took with him :D ... then we went Laundry Bar for lepak (Chill out)
Of coz we went there for the band =) had a great time with both of 'em monkies!

If it's one thing I love about being in a plane it's the view ... not the food :P ... beverages on the menu doesn't always looks 'exactly' the same ...

well, this is our must have 'Pak Nasser's Nasi Lemak'

And here's our order :D 'only' Rm8.00, sound's like robbery in broad daylight to me :P

20 July 2008 - A tragic accident that changed me

Ok it's not that tragic but we (Jay and I) did had an accident last night, the day I came back from KK. Lets talk bout the accident first, ok ... we had dinner as usual then had 3 bottles of beer ... that's normal ... then head home and bath, then went to the bar I usually hang out with my colleagues but this time, I was with Jay (my house-mate) ... 4 jugs of beer shouldn't be a lot ... well I had few songs and we were talking gibberish ... not all though ... I think it was 1:30am in morning then we head back home ... never thought it was too much for Jay tonight, he was driving fast and I told myself 'he's speeding' ... or maybe he got everything under-controlled ... he told me he was driving 140km/h ... that's speeding and I didn't even realized it after he told me the next morning ... things turn out ugly after we came to a U-turn, we didn't made it and we hit a lamp pole, the car went spinning 360 degrees, the hit the divider and the whole car sky-high along with us in it ... ok I was joking, we only hit the side walk and luckily we survived the stupid accident, I think was trying to do a drift but ending up with 2 blown up tires, front bumper came off, rims broken the same instance we hit the side walk ...

... luckily a car stop by and help us ... we were still in shock but safe, we head home after changing the spare tire ... still shock, we reached home then went to bed straight away ... just don't wanna make a fuss in the middle of the night ... Jay looks ok ... last night's accident gave me a flash back ... the moment before hitting the side walk reminds me of death ... guess dren's right about me being fatal ... well the topic's 'a tragic accident that changed me' but actually it didn't hahaha ... just have to be extra careful and DON'T DRINK AND FUCKING DRIVE ...

Was busy finishing some paper works today ... exhausted ... been talking with some of the commercial divers to-be recently ... from our conversation the other day ... it really took some guts and courage to take that big leap of his ... imagine an IT guy ending up taking OW and went Australia to enroll for the course *ADAS I, II & III ... that's a loooooooong way to go man!

Putting that aside, to enroll for the course you need a rough amount of AUS$ 20k to complete those course within 3 months! wow! wow! wow! That ain't no small amount we're talking 'bout for low income earners like me here ... bare in mind here, converting Australian $ to Malaysia RM does make a difference ... $ ...

1 AUS$ = RM3.1542

Converting it back to Malaysian Ringgit we get around RM55k to RM60k ... you can get a nice car with this amount of cash! Well you know how Malaysian cars are expensive for their TAX!

Well you can either get a loan for the course itself or make loan shark if you're out of options ... haha ... kidding ... never ever make a loan from loan sharks!!! It's cost more than your life ...

After going through 3 months under professional supervision, you're finally a step further into becoming a commercial diver :D ... ok 3 months isn't so long but getting a job from listed Companies ain't a piece of cake ... 'till now my friend who went through all the hassle for the training has to wait for a job offer from any company ... but no worries after getting your first job ... you can pay off the loan easily with your 3 months pay :D

It's a big day for me today and yet I woke up at 11am ... lol ...

The interview was at 2pm ... managed to bath, dress up to kill the interviewer, went out to make a copy of all my certs accept my resume ... forgot about that ... haha ... grab some junks to eat ...

went to the location earlier to look for parking coz I know that place has limited space to park ... walked to the guard post and told them I came for an interview ... noticed there was another person came for the same reason coz she was holding the same tag as mine ... I walk to the lobby and was given a form to fill in ... as usual ... troublesome ... few minutes later we were called to go to the next room ... ok, I thought she said 'the next room' ? we actually need to go out from the building, walked to back way, through another security door where we had to put on plastic cover on our shoes ... then walk up the stairs into another freaking room where we had to wait another 5 minutes ... then someone came in looking for 'Saiful' ... no Saiful here, the person went off ... another person came in, calling the lady I met outside in the guard post, then my name and another guy ... she gave me directions and ask me to wait there, they'll be someone waiting for you.

I waited in the 5th floor lobby, observing staff going in and out of the entrance door ... 15 minutes gone by then this guy came out from the cubical glass in front of me asking :" came for the interview? Let's go" ... the interview last 35 minutes ... that was long ...

Tested the U/W housing ... 1st attempt was a success ... took it out to dry the housing ... then I noticed there was a few lines on the surface ... ok, at 1st I saw only one line ... hmmm ... shouldn't be a problem I thought to myself ... but still I gave a msg to the seller ... continue wiping the thing ... then noticed another line ... no big deal rite? Let's wipe the bloody thing ... few seconds then, SHIT this is worse!!! A total of 5 lines! WTF!!! So I quickly msg the seller again demanding a replacement A.S.A.P! No reply of course ... then I showed it to my housemate, he was shock at first then told me it looks like scratches only ... calm myself and take another closer look ... doesn't look convincing for a scratch ... any how, I tested the housing again for the 2nd time ... turns out ok ... just hope for the best ...

This was the condition my package was in when I went to collect it ...

I think the stupid postmen drop it some how or threw it back inside the van when there wasn't anyone at home to collect it ... jack axx

Tomorrow's a big day for me ... not so big actually ... just a normal interview from another company ... trying to memorize some terms which will be asked during the interview ... not hoping but still will try my best to entertain the interviewer haha ... shouldn't that hard right?

Went for a briefing from my company by our MD ... was quite more like a motivation talk but the bottom line was he wants us stuff to go oversea to work ... since there's no more project available in local market so there's only projects outside Malaysia ... that's why I'm going for an interview tomorrow noon ... :D just wish me luck k~ haha ...

The day I've been waiting for has arrived!

The day for the dive trip is coming close. Almost got my photo gears ready. Got my Canon Power Shot G9 yesterday for RM1700 and just now I just made another online order for the underwater proof housing for the G9, a 58mm lens adaptor and don't forgot a MUST have Raynox DCR-250 43mm (2.5x macro lens).

This 3 items alone cost me RM1113 ... this is really too much ... haha ... putting aside the dive trip which will cost me another RM985, I'm declared broke by the time I'm back home on the 12th. Well who cares, as long as the trip was worth it by the end of the day ...

I've finally bought my very own Canon Power Shot G9! Yippeeee~~~

Charge almost 5 hours, then tested for few photos ... awesome!

The body itself, a mini tripod, SDHC 4GB, neck strap, and a pouch ... cute ... haha ... but I still need to buy the water proof housing for it tomorrow ... way to much money to spend this month ... will take some awesome photos to upload soon ... but I need some time to get used to the buttons ... kinda small you know ...

Wasn't doing much during the day ... was just recuperating at home ... then later on went dinner wif ma buddies ... had 3 bottles of TIGER ... taking a break during weekends ... Was quite busy today but I'm not sure what I was busy for ... just got a sad news from back home ... a junior of mine was killed in an accident ... that's really sad to hear ... I can't say I know her well though but hearing that from the person near to you makes it feels like life really is fragile ... I always cherished the friends I have ... and my family ... making every minute and second count ... that's why I always remind myself to live life to the fullest even if it kills me ... life is life ... no one can change it ... accept how we live life ... I want something I really want to hold on to ... something to protect ... something to live my life for ... I can't say I'll live happily ever after but I need to be content with the life I have now even though for an amateur diver like me haha ... I can't argue about it ... I know it sounds abit absurd but well that's who I am ...

Was in my room when I heard something came in to my room from the window ... it was a huge dragon fly ... hehe ... it looks small here but it was the size of my palm ... ok almost the size of my palm haha ... was waiting to go out with a friend for dinner ... :D don't always see me go out socializing ... the place we went for dinner was at Station 1 in Puchong Jaya ... well she was abit late due to work ... no blaming her ... sat there waited for an hour ... when she came and she called just to confirm whether I was there or not ... lol guess what, I WAS at the wrong place ... haha ... she went to where I was haha ... sorry for her ...

she came sitting next to me looking exhausted ... she's over work ... ordered dinner and we chat ... bare in mind this is our first time ever meeting ... 2nd time after that night I met her ... she was wonderful tonight :D we talk and talk ... she reach my place around 10pm and we had dinner and talk and laugh ... 12pm something still talking ... showed her few of my photos taken using my handphone ... first time having someone appreciating the photos I've taken ... so happy!!!
We talked bout her hometown, her work, her favorite things she likes doing, she's talkative but I like it, coz it doesn't create any awkwardness haha ... she likes to talk about eating ... and more bout food and places she travel :D man she's cool!!! haha ... I know I know it's too early for me to be happy about anything ... frankly speaking it was nice having her for dinner ... I'm not sure how it was for her but it was great for me :D aside being hot! she's friendly and nice to talk with ...

Just had breakfast and lunch together, so I'm drinking orange juice now. Oh it's raining already. Luckily I went out earlier to buy film cartridge. Managed to find one expired Samsung ISO 200 & 1 Kodak ISO 100. Cost me RM21.50.

Will be using the Samsung first since it's expired one, just wanna see the results later on :D - Just tested it ... quite difficult in handling it ... having problem winding the film ... hope it turns out fine ... this is one boring day here ... was surfing pointlessly tonight ... saw this video on youtube :D cool ...

I swear I'm gonna dive with dolphins one day !

Wow ... what a day ... got back home too late last night - so I had to write this the next morning, YES correct I'm at home haha ... Reach the office quite early so I had my breakfast alone first since non of my colleague is here yet, accept for one of course. Went straight back to office after breakfast, well my boss and another subcontractor's boss was talking this and that, complaining the government - political stuff of course ... I couldn't bare to listen so I just pretend I was busy at the corner. After that I was dragged to another breakfast session - 9am till 11am - damn that's too long for one breakfast!!! We were talking about Malaysia and Thailand, how these two country differ from ALL aspect.

THAILAND:
1) no TOL
2) there's 8 LANES the highway
3) only renew their driving license and road tax ONCE
4) doesn't 'uses' their people's MONEY for funding unnecessary things
5) one more thing - there's no tax for the cars over there

MALAYSIA:
1) lost count the number of TOL stations in Malaysia
2) it's a crappy road here
3) rebate for road users?
4) wow CyberJaya (what is it for again?), Putrajaya (It's for us people or just for show?) & etc
5) what's the price for a brand NEW VIOS in Malaysia and in Thailand?
6) Malaysia BOLEH! in what???

Well, it was a long topic we had that morning.
So green ... after 2 long hours of talk we head back to do our work of course. Not much work though. It was one wasteful day. Had lunch, we talk, we done things, had tea again ...My boss will be going off to India this Sunday. So we had a meeting for those outstanding works left.

It was 6pm something or so, our boss and the subcontractor's boss invited us for a drink at our usual place. Ezzy Pub that is ... played pool, drank, we sang and pool again, play cards, talk, sang ...

That's all we usually do.

Reach home around 1am. Slept soundly.

s usual, this is another working day for all the wage slaves out there (lol) ... well nothing unusual happened at work. Went to look for spare tyre for my colleague at some junk yard (half-cut) ... it was raining ...

We didn't managed to find any here so we went to another place ... he got what he wanted for RM50 ... well half the price you get half junk haha ...
at least it's from Japan ... something to show off :D

Took a short nap after work, then went for dinner ... that's life ... after dinner went online for awhile then went out to collect my item from lelong!!!

Yay! Finally got my own LOMO CAMERA for lomography. Can't wait to use it later.

Notes:
- Use only 35mm film cartridge, either 12, 24 or 36 exposures.
- Use ISO 100 film cartridge for outdoor exposures in fine days, and ISO 400 film cartridge for outdoor exposures in cloudy days or indoor photography in bright environment. In gloomy places, please use ISO 1000 film cartridge in order to produce satisfactory results.
- If the film rewind crank rotates while film winding is done, it shows that the gears of film sprocket and the slots of film match properly.

Some of the instructions given by the manual ... haha ... ok it's abit old school and lame ... well WHO CARES!!!!

15 June 2008 - A boring Sunday at home

Hey there, this is my blog for divers and for those who are keen to know how does a diver live their lives. I recently just got certified from PADI, for me it's still a looooong way to go before I'm worthy of becoming a PRO. To kick start this blog, I guess I should intro myself to anyone out there reading - I'm Dennis, from Malaysia. Basically, I'm an engineer during the day and a lazy bum during the night (lol, coz there's nothing much to do besides going online, psp-ing, hang-out with my old colleague drinking and singing...that's all for socializing). I took my Open water diver's course in February along with my dive buddy Wee. It was last month that I got my divers card (a must for all divers who got certified either by PADI or SSI) and my recent dive was in May - Dive site: Redang Island. The place was spectacular, and the dive? Needless to say - awesome.

Man I miss going diving rather than sitting here online haha ... well at least I get to update my blogs.
For divers, having a bad day diving is MUCH more better than having a bad day in the office. I guess all the divers do is only work huh? No stress, no paper work, no deadlines to meet, don't have to face your boss every day and night ... guess it's fun all day for divers ... yay! Becoming a pro diver is a huge step for someone like me (a wage slave), my life's a screw up ... ok just kidding ... just wished I started diving after I graduated =D ... hmm ... well ... it's still early for me so NO REGRETS ...

There's alot of people prefer being a wage slave rather than doing what they love ...
Some would prefer going into business which is alot more better but higher risk at stake ...
Some would prefer a slow and stress-free life ... well who doesn't ...
Everyone's just trying to make a living ...
